•The best gate to have is a double-gate that opens to the inside, so that your dog can’t get out when someone enters.

• Don’t leave your dog alone for more than 24hrs and make sure it’s always got enough water. The two obvious types of fencing are chain link, or some kind of mesh-wire. This makes escaping impossible and can’t hurt the dog.
